MediaLiteracyWikibook

This Media Literacy Wikibook will serve as a resource for other teachers, as well as for use by your students who can add their own material to the Media Literacy Wikibook. You’re therefore planting some seeds which will continue to grow into a large tree of knowledge.

The chapters in this Wikibook created by students in CI5472, Teaching Film, Television, and Media Studies Syllabus address different aspects of teaching media literacy (see SideBar for chapter topics). They contain examples of teaching units, media analysis, media ethnography studies, etc. These chapters are also linked to a wide range of texts, Websites that are referenced on the TeachingMediaLiteracy.com textbook Website: http://TeachingMediaLiteracy.com as well as the Wikipedia page for media literacy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_Literacy

Please contribute your own material to this Wikibook by using this style guide WikiStyle. Select the chapter topic most related to your material and add your material within this topic or create a new chapter topic that best captures the focus of your material. You may also have your students add in their material.

Please do not delete existing material. In the beginning of the material, please identify yourself, your school, and the grade level(s) most suited for your material.

Thanks for contributing to this Wikibook.
